Hi there!
My name is Kelsey and I am reaching out to see if my son Dawson would be a good fit with you. We live in Chester County (Parkesburg Pa.) I am excited to see your business is for Speech and feeding! My son will be seven years old this month. A little background about my son is he was born with CHARGE syndrome. Along with complexities that come with it, Dawson has exceeded all expectations and is a fun, loving, smart, typical six year old boy. However, he has had a trach since he’s been three months old and was just able to get his trach removed in August! So now that we have hit that milestone – speech and feeding are a top priority for Dawson. He also has a hearing loss, however, with his hearing aids, he hears good.
Dawson has been in early intervention ever since he was a baby and once he turned three years old, he moved to the preschool CCIU which has been wonderful. Now that he has entered first grade his therapies have to be through the school district and after a meeting with the therapies through the school district, he will be having less time being worked with due to the schools therapist schedules. Knowing that this is the time we really need to hit the ground running since he now has his trach out, I just feel like the one on one therapy from you with your expertise will allow Dawson to thrive.
I am looking forward to hearing and hopeful to work together!
